Maine Coons of Sacred Fire and Maine Coons of Tamariki-Dreams is a small privat cattery cooperation in the heart of Bavaria.

We - that means my husband, my four children and me – live together with our Coonies in a homely townhouse in Kolbermoor.

After learning a lot about the gentle giants by a friend we decided zu take the first Coonie to our home.
After a long search we found Merlin, a really beautiful black-tabby male Coonie. Soon we decided that Merlin should not be alone and we found a lovely girl friend for him.

We started thinking about a cattery and than it happened......
Not to have ' just once a kitten ', we talked with a lot of catteries about their experiences and received mostly true answers. The book " Basic knowhow about a cattery " from Barbara Hickmann helped us a lot and gave us the necessary information.
Our special thanks goes to Anika. We asked you day and night and you always
had a patient answer. :o)

We searched for the right breeding association and became member in 'Gemeinschaft der Katzenfreunde e.V.' GdK e.V. .

The goal of our cattery is the breeding of typical standard cats.
For us it is very important to have essentially fixed cats with a very good character.
After our cats reached the appropriate age they become tested for FIV and Leikose regulary and will be checked for HCM and PKD.

It is our biggest wish to have the cats close to our family. That's why they share the complete house with us and are not seperated in a single room or stay with friends or neighbours !

You will never find us on a cat show because we don't want to stress
our cats. Even without a champions title we know that we have beautiful and typical cats :o)
